Testimony As a little girl, I walked into TCAB with a dream of being a ballerina and left as a young adult with a wealth of skills and relationships I could not have gained elsewhere. My strongest friendships and fondest memories were formed in the halls and studios. As a shy girl, learned to express confidence through movement which helped push me through challenging experiences in adulthood.

I began taking classes at TCAB when I was 7 years old and now years later I am a professional dancer touring the world pursuing my passion. Looking back, I am so incredibly grateful to TCAB for all the support and amazing experiences that lead me to adulthood. The memories made with lifelong friends are truly unforgettable and I am honored to call TCAB a second home.

I grew up attending TCAB from childhood through my senior year of high school. I made so many wonderful friends there over the years, and many of my favorite memories were times spent together at the studio! I also learned valuable skills that have served me not only in the dance studio, but carried into my adult life. I look forward to enrolling my own children soon and watching them build connections and make lasting memories as well.

I became a student at TCAB at just 3 years old and continued being a student there for 15 years. Every year, my parents would ask me if I wanted to try a different activity or sport-but ballet was always my answer. I enjoyed the structure, the music, and the feeling of working hard to achieve my goals. TCAB provides a structured dance environment that teaches important life skills, such as learning how to respond to constructive criticism and how to self-reflect, as well as cooperating with others to reach an end goal. Although I chose not to pursue a career in dance, I still value the skills and experience that TCAB gave me to help me succeed in every aspect of life, and for helping foster my love and support for the performing arts. I’m so grateful that I met my best friends while being a student at TCAB and they stood by my side on my wedding day. Being ballet students together strengthened our friendships and gave us countless memories that we will never forget. I always looked forward to class everyday so that I could be with my best friends while practicing our craft. Thank you TCAB for giving me such memorable experiences!

"My experience at the Tri-Cities Academy of Ballet taught me the importance of hard work, discipline, and having goals in life. The values that I learned there have continued to shape the person that I am to this day. The people at TCAB were a second family to me, and to this day I still feel that way. I feel lucky to have had such a truly invaluable experience."

"The TCAB was my home away from home. The discipline I learned there gave me a work ethic like no other school could have given. It brought me to my years of performing; first as a principal ballerina and now as a dancer in a Broadway show. The friends made, the memories created, and my passion for dance are all because of the TCAB."

"For me, TCAB was my home away from home. It provided me with a place where I was able to advance not only in my abilities in the studio, but also grow as an artistic and aware human being."

"TCAB was my second family and home for years. As a result, I not only received first-class dance training, but I developed qualities that would stay with me for a lifetime. The qualities developed from TCAB such as discipline, responsibility, commitment and the desire to strive for excellence have served as the foundation for my professional career and personal life. The memories and lessons learned are priceless."

"I have received all of my dance training at TCAB, from my childhood through adulthood. I am so confident in the quality of teaching and instructors that my three children are now enrolled. TCAB is like family, and I wouldn't dream of taking my children anywhere else."

"The faculty at TCAB were second parents to me, the ballet studio my second home. The training we all got went way beyond the physical and artistic abilities of dance. TCAB helped us develop the traits necessary to work as a team, grow as individuals, and see a project through to completion. I am proud to bring my children to TCAB to dance. Without TCAB I wouldn't be the person I am today."
